About five years ago while on the North Shore I decided to just go drive around for the day and shoot the beauty of the island. As I was driving through a certain area of the island, I looked over and saw this beautiful wave rifling off. I stopped for a few minutes and took a few lineups. Later that night, I realized the cross in the shot and was really drawn to this image. I never knew what had happened at that particular spot but the image always makes me think. I cut my teeth in the surf game years ago by sitting on the beach for hours video taping a young Andy Irons and Cory Lopez charge Log Cabins. You may have also seen me on the wrong side of the camera in “The Decline” and “5’5″ Redux.”
I was born in Miami, Florida, in 1974 and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1976. I began working with …Lost and through opportunities there, I have imagery published all over the globe. Family, health and friends are most important to me, and my school was traveling and listening to others–The School of Trial and Error.
