For the past few years now, Evan has been tinkering with different surfboards. As of late he has really nailed down what works best for him through the help of his Dad, Greg and West Coast shaper Matt Biolos. This particular shot was from a day of testing one board after another, hence the fact the board is blank. I've watched and filmed Evan since he first started surfing and his passion is deep. I cut my teeth in the surf game years ago by sitting on the beach for hours video taping a young Andy Irons and Cory Lopez charge Log Cabins. You may have also seen me on the wrong side of the camera in “The Decline” and “5’5″ Redux.”
I was born in Miami, Florida, in 1974 and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1976. I began working with …Lost and through opportunities there, I have imagery published all over the globe. Family, health and friends are most important to me, and my school was traveling and listening to others–The School of Trial and Error.
